About CaseTrack
Immigration is one of the most stressful journeys a person can undertake. Waiting months — sometimes years — with little transparency is a reality for millions of applicants.
CaseTrack exists because of a simple belief: when we share our experiences, everyone benefits.
Our Mission
Community-Powered
Every data point comes from a real applicant who chose to share their experience. No scraping. No government data feeds.
Radically Anonymous
No receipt numbers. No A-numbers. No names. We've designed the system so that we literally cannot identify you from your submission.
Data Over Anecdotes
Reddit threads and Facebook groups are full of anecdotes. CaseTrack aggregates structured data so you can see real distributions, not just individual stories.
Always Free
Immigration is expensive enough. CaseTrack is free to use, forever. No premium tiers. No paywalled data.
How the Data Works
When you submit a timeline, you tell us: your visa category, country of birth, the service center processing your case (optional), your filing date, and any milestones you've reached (biometrics, interview, approval, etc.).
We store this in our database and use it to compute aggregate statistics: average processing times by category and country, approval rates, median wait times, and trend indicators. Nothing in the database links your case to your identity.
You can submit multiple milestones for the same case (e.g., when biometrics is completed, then when interview is scheduled). This lets us build a complete picture of the pipeline from filing to final decision.
Important: CaseTrack data reflects user-reported experiences and may not match USCIS official processing time statistics. Always verify critical dates with USCIS directly.
Our Privacy Commitment
We take privacy seriously because our users are immigration applicants — people whose legal status may be sensitive. Here's our commitment:
- ✓We will never ask for receipt numbers, A-numbers, or case-specific USCIS identifiers.
- ✓We will never sell user data to third parties.
- ✓We will never share individual submission data publicly.
- ✓We will store only the minimum data necessary to compute aggregate statistics.
- ✓We will respond to data deletion requests promptly.
- ✓We will never display data in a way that could be used to identify an individual.
